About Me

I hate writing my own bio. It always sound so corny and like I'm trying to sell myself or something. Let me try this, I will have one of my dear friends describe me as if she were introducing us.

"This is Ami Jo King. If you look at the spelling of her name it spells 'Am I Joking!!" isn't that funny?! King is her married name so it's not like she had parents with a good sense of humor. Anyway, Ami Jo is an animal lover, she has three dogs, two cats, and a bunch of chickens. She would have more critters but she and her hubby travel between two states often and it's hard enough transporting all those pets.

She follows the Buddhist philosophies and votes Democrat most of the time. She believes in freedom and equal rights for all..white, black, Hispanic, women (and even men), the LGBT community, and any religions that encourages love and non-judgment of others. She isn't one of those people who fills her yard with political signs, and she won't tolerate someone telling a racist or prejudice joke in her home, and if you tell one in her presence she will let you know that it was not a nice thing to say.

She loves to spend time with her grandchildren, garden, experiment with raising strange things like black soldier flies (?) and red worms. She enjoys walking her dogs, having a good girl-talk over a Starbucks coffee, and riding her motorcycle.

She is always sharing stories of people she meets reading blogs, and after months and months of saying it, she has finally started her own blog. Even though I get to hear her thoughts in person, I love to read the stories as she has written them on her blog. So visit her blog, enjoy her Ramblings, and fill blessed that you've had the opportunity to meet her, even if it's just in the virtual world."

[Very flattering my friend, thank you!]
